PADI Deep Dive Specialty Course

Expand your diving adventures with the PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course. Whether you’re interested in exploring deeper reefs, walls,

wrecks, or simply increasing your confidence, this course provides the knowledge and practical skills required to safely plan and conduct dives to 40 metres, the maximum recreational depth.

Throughout the course you’ll learn:

• Deep dive planning and preparation


• Gas management and air consumption at depth


• Narcosis awareness and management


• Safety stops and emergency procedures


• Deep diving equipment considerations


• Navigation and communication during deep dives

The course consists of PADI eLearning completed at your own pace before the practical component, followed by open water training dives with your instructor.

Upon successful completion you’ll earn the PADI Deep Diver Specialty certification, qualifying you to dive to 40 metres with a buddy of equal or higher certification.
